I Over Came You
I over came
the many phases
of you.
1.
The burns
that over lapped
with ink stained cuts
that covered my body.
2.
The glass shattered mind
that was filled
with half finished
sentences that all
began with 'what if'
3.
The hope that tucked
itself in the corner
of my heart.
But, after all that,
I still could smile.
